Uganda is one of the few remaining countries to see the mountain gorilla, our four days’ fly gorilla safaris will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is situated in the western part of Uganda gazette in 1991 and was declared a world heritage site by the 1994 as a way of protecting the critically endangered species of mountain gorillas, these gentle species don’t live in captivity, they are highly gentle living in families of up to 20 individuals led by a male silver back. Intelligent and are herbivorous in nature. Highlights of the 4 Days Gorilla Trekking Flying Safari include; mountain gorilla trekking, nature viewing, and the Batwa cultural experience.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park hosts half population of the remaining world’s mountain gorilla species others distributed in the Virunga region (Mgahinga National Park and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda). Tracking the famous subspecies of the mountain gorilla is a life changing experience and a must do on a Ugandan primate safari.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will be welcomed by our company representative upon arrival, who will pick you and we transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, passing through angelic rolling hills, banana and tea plantations, driving for approximately 9hours while you enjoy the unending beauty of the pearl of Africa. Day 2: Full Day Gorilla Habituation

Early morning breakfast after which we will drive to the park center, arriving in for the morning briefing from the Uganda wildlife park ranger, and off the thick vegetation to nature mountain gorillas, habituation is done to make gorilla familiar with its visitors, we will spend the whole day here admiring and studying the mountain gorilla, rules on how to behave around them as the guide will be cleaning to you, have our packed lunch and head back to the lodge for dinner

Day 3: Guided Nature Walk and Batwa Cultural Experience

We will have breakfast and later head to the visitor center to do a guided nature walk in the forest, through the thick forest is the real wonder of the world, there are many tree species and plant growing beneath, there is a chance of spotting animals like the mountain duiker or forest elephants, along which you will be filled with beautiful bird songs and water flowing below and above. Returning to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon performance from the batwa group. These are last remaining short structured people in Uganda pygmies who will do their traditional dance, show you how to make fire and story telling

Day 4: Departure

Following a morning breakfast, we will drive to the Kisoro airstrip in order to catch your flight to Entebbe for departure taking an Arial view of Uganda all the way to the airport.
