Our 11 Days Uganda Tour leads you to Uganda’s primate destinations of Kibale National Park commonly known as the capital of primates with 13 primate species including the chimpanzee, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park covered in rolling forested hills, home to the famous mountain gorillas, winding you through beautiful landscapes.

11 Days Uganda Tour

Day 1:  Arrival at the Airport

You will be picked by a Verdant Safaris company representative who will transfer you to the hotel, take your time to relax from the long flight as you prepare for your next day’s safari.

Accommodation

Midrange: 2 friends’ hotel.

Meal plan: Bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

morning breakfast and a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, having a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Rhinos taking 2-3hours lunch en-route in Masindi town and after continue to the largest conservation area in Uganda where we will stay for an overnight.

Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

Day 3: Game Drive and Launch Cruise

You will have breakfast, after drive to the northern bank of the park in search for early morning risers you will spot animals like buffaloes, giraffes, bush bucks, warthogs, elephants, waterbucks, oribi, Jackson hartebeest among a variety on a lucky day you will see lions returning to the lodge for lunch and later an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls you will have chance to see the water animals like crocodiles, hippos as you enjoy the roar of the magnificent Murchison falls.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will have a full day drive to Kibale Forest National park its well-known for primates which include the chimpanzee and with the largest forest cover in Kabalore district, its home to various mammal species though they are rarely seen and boasts with over 325 bird species six of which are endemic. You will have a lunch stopover along the journey. Arriving in the evening to check in for dinner and overnight at

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi swamp walk

After your morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu visitor center to start your chimpanzee tracking by 8 am it may last for 2 to 3 hours, chimpanzees share close to 98% of the human DNA, they are communicable and social primates. Chimpanzee are the most popular primate most sought of by many tourists, expect to see other primates like the grey cheeked Mangabey, black and white colobus monkey, red tailed Mangabey. Later an afternoon swamp walks around Bigodi village.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Following a morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing via the Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions arriving in the evening for a dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi after a morning game drive through queen Elizabeth arriving Bwindi in the evening, you can optionally do the Batwa cultural experience in the evening enjoying their traditional dance, cultural norms and customs, crafts and later head to the lodge to relax have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

after your early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before you can go for gorilla tracking, they will brief you on what to do while with the gorillas, remember flash photography is prohibited, you will be assigned  your gorilla family to track and your guide will drive you to the starting point, tracking is could be so tiring but rewarding by the end of the day, time to find the gorillas depends on how far the gorilla families have moved it can take 2 to 8 hours or even the whole day. One hour is allowed to spend with the animals interact with them but not so closely.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Following breakfast transfer to Lake Bunyonyi a land of a thousand hills and islands, arriving for an afternoon canoe cruise to the animal island.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in time for a hot lunch and an afternoon game drive in search of wild life

Accommodation at Rwakobo Rock.

Day 11: Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe.

You will have breakfast later which we will transfer to Entebbe international airport for drop off and departure.

The 11 Days Uganda Tour includes;

However, the 11 Days Uganda Tour excludes;

  • All passport and visa fee.
  • All health vaccination and medication.
  • International flight and associated airport departure tax.
  • Meals not specified (including lunch & other meal stop between the properties on overland sector).
  • Drinks were not stimulated in the itinerary.
  • Items of personal nature.
  • Laundry | gratitude for guide | hotel | staff etc.
  • Any extra additional activities not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Changes incurred as a result of delays or cancellations and all other inconveniences beyond our control.
  • Trip cancellations, travel delay or baggage insurance.
  • All statutory beyond our control.
  • Travel | medical insurance is not included.
