Our driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or place of residence early in the morning and transfer you to Entebbe Landing Site at the Uganda Wildlife Education Center from which you will get on a boat to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary 23km offshore.
Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is home to a number of orphaned chimpanzees, a variety of plants and tree species, wild water and forest bird species, beautiful but unique reptile species such as snakes and lizard varieties and lake scenery all available to make your safari a memorable one.
You will have a unique opportunity for close viewing of chimpanzees in their natural environment especially during the feeding times (11.00 am & 3.00 pm each day) when the chimpanzees come close to the fence and you can watch them from the raised walkway designed for easy viewing and excellent photographic opportunities.
Your 1 Day Ngamba Island Tour will begin to be fun as you enter through the Uganda Wildlife Education Center in the morning to catch a boat to the Island. You will get to see monkeys, plant and bird species hover about.
