This 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari takes you to take part in tracking mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, located in North Western Rwanda. Day 1: Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our company representative will pick you and guide you through Rwanda’s Capital City (Kigali), it is a well-planned city with various activities and places of historical importance to see. You will visit the Rwanda genocide memorial which was built in remembrance of the killings of thousands of Rwandans following a tribal fight. Spending more time in the town visiting local market. You will have Lunch and then proceed to Volcanoes National Park, a drive of approximately 2 to 3 hours and on arrival for dinner.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Village Tour (Iby’iwachu)
Waking up to an early morning breakfast and head to the park Visitor center for briefing on Mountain gorillas. It starts at 7:00am after registration and assigning of Gorilla families. Once you feel like you have a lot to carry there is always a porter to help you succeed your adventure, you will spend or more hours in the Jungle enjoying what nature has to offer, an hour is allowed with families and then head back to the lodge for Lunch or dinner depending on the time you will take finding the gentle species, and later have cultural performance from the Iby’iwacu Community, they will dance and show you the Rwandan Culture through their eyes.

Day 3: Golden Monkeys and Transfer to Kigali Airport for Departure
Golden Monkeys are one of the rare primate species in the Volcanoes National Park, they are at the verge of extinction just like the Mountain Gorillas. A morning breakfast and head out to the park searching for more rare species, they are beautiful and present the best photo shots, but please remember that flash photography is not allowed. Later we will head to the airport for departure.
